My name is Brett Gustafson and I suck at talking about myself... Soo here's my best shot at it.

I'm a lifelong sports and movie fan from the frozen northland of Minnesota. Where the winters can suck so much that you got to find something to do so, watching sports and movies is a great excuse to feel like your doing something without stepping foot outside in the -20 degree temperatures. Entertainment has been a vessel for me to escape reality for as long as i can remember. I find so much joy in learning about people and their stories that come with them. I have always said "everyone has a story you just have to take the time to listen." I Haven't been good at much in my life but I have always found joy in writing and telling stories.  Am I good at it now that's a better question... I lost my best friend who I did everything with about a year ago and it really broke me as human being it still does I struggle everyday with it but I found joy and solace in writing it's like nothing else i've ever done. I realized life is way too short to be miserable doing something you don't want to do, you know it's funny how it takes a tragedy of epic proportions for humans to figure that out. I decided to start this blog because I usually do a weekly recap for my friends about the NFL week or a certain NFL game that I found interesting that they seem to enjoy. So I said screw it why not put a few stories on the interweb and see how it goes. I have no education or training in writing if that wasn't blatantly obvious so my grammar is far from the best but I enjoy the stories that my brain seems to come up with and I hope you will too.
